Charitable Golf Tournament Gearing up again
This year on September 23rd on a beautiful day on the Golf course in Hohenwald we held the Second Annual Highland Charitable Golf Tournament " Links of Love". This year we had an even bigger turnout. It was the day we had all been waiting for. The day of the Highland Charitable foundation Second Annual Golf Tournament. We prepared for another 18 teams to participate with a free lunch and free drinks. IIt was in the 70's with a good breeze and we will be scheduling for the same week next year in hope that the weather will cooperate to make a perfect day of golf. The course was in superb shape even with the drought, and everyone had a great time. There was two flights, the Championship flight and the first flight. First, Second and Third place prizes in each flight and prizes for closest to the hole and longest drive. We reaised in excess of $25,000 dollars for charity this year.
Highland Charitable Foundation
Highland Charitable Foundation was founded in 2006. It is completely a non-profit Foundation for helping us give back to the communities that we work in. Aside from employee contributions, money is raised from donations and an annual Golf Tournament. We are constantly finding needs and trying to help meet them. We have already made donations to numerous groups this year and are always keeping our eyes and ears open to help more.
